Wednesday 24 April 2024 6th form Trip to Barcelona ???? Our 6th form students are soaking up the vibrant sights and sounds of BarcelonaFrom soaring in aeroplanes to exploring the underground metro, gliding in cable cars, and climbing hills with the funicular, every moment is an adventure.

Monday 22 April 2024 National supported Internship On Wednesday 27th of March Castledon School organised an event for the National Supported Internship day which was hosted at AspireCafeStudents along with parents and carers from across Essex learnt what a Supported Internship entails and what future career opportunities and pathways could be offered to them. Students from Key Stage3 also came along to sell gifts and sweets for the Easter holidays. The gifts ranged from handmade cards, wrapped sweets and even beautiful bouquets of daffodils. Well done to everyone involved!

Wednesday 20 March 2024 Sixth Form Drama The Sixth Form Drama group enjoyed an in depth tour of the Towngate Theatre in Basildon. This was followed by the chance to ask questions to explore the various career paths within the creative industries which will help them to complete part of their Level 1 qualification.

Wednesday 24 January 2024 GCSE Art Year two students are working on their exam preparation. They were issued the exam paper last week and are now researching their chosen theme, creating image boards, inspired studies and are starting to look at their chosen artists.Year one students have taken photos of still life compositions and are now starting to create studies from their individual photos to create a design inspired by Angie Lewin.

Friday 15 December 2023 Swimming success A big congratulations to the KS3 & KS4 swimmers who performed exceptionally at the SESSSA Swimming gala winning each category and the overall event. Students demonstrated brilliant teamwork and support for one another during their races. Well done!

Friday 17 November 2023 Year 12 Students partake in "Talk the Talk" workshop by Jack Petchey Our #Year12 students took part in a workshop run by #JackPetchey called 'Talk the Talk'.
